Don't want to be...
...aaaaal byyy myyy seelf.
That’s more
or less what I was thinking when I walked into my bedroom after school today.
Incredible how quickly you can get used to having someone around, and how empty
it is without them afterwards.
D friend
from Norway landed in England Thursday afternoon and left this morning. A
five-day fun and surreal visit. We both agreed on this; she belonged to my
world in Norway. My world here in England is a completely different one, and
then suddenly she crossed the border (yes, that’s a pun right there) and it
just felt… well, surreal. Much like that “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” that mixed
cartoon and reality in one film.
During
these five days we had time to eat dinner at a pub, have her hair coloured and
her ear pierced, I got to introduce her to the world of English student house
parties, we went clubbing, watched films, got frustrated at the constantly
rainy weather, went shopping, froze our skin off walking around Southend, went
to London, and had my birthday dinner at Pizza Hut in Oxford street which she
even paid for! :D
All in all,
a successful five days I dare say. And now my room is just horribly empty.
