House 6

Flat 1.

On Monday, exactly four weeks after we were thrown head first out of our flat, we were allowed to go back. We have been given a big fine each, so my wallet is going to be aching for a while now, but we got our flat back.

Though, of course, not even the move back could go smoothly. At first we were told that we could pick up our old keycards and keep both keys (to house 6 and our temporary rooms) until we were all done. But when I went to reception to pick up my key, they said I had to be back with the temporary flat key within 48 hours. That’s the rule. Now, hang on, so with coming home at eight Monday and a total of 20 hours of school Tuesday and Wednesday, how was I supposed to move out and clean the room after me, exactly? But the lady behind the counter wouldn't budge.

That just wasn’t gonna fly. I was so over-tired of this whole situation, that I fianlly gave the lady a short nod and said “I’ll be right back.” I went to my room, found the number to the Head of Accommodation, rang her, and a total of six minutes later I was back in the reception.

“I’m allowed to have my key ‘til Thursday night.”

A light scowl from the receptionist. “Who authorized it?”

“Head of Accommodation.”

(The Head is a really nice woman too by the way, I've spoken to her several times now).

  1. Thats my girl! står på og lar deg ikke presse. Skulle bare mangle med de tøffe dagene du har på universitetet. Håper alt er vel over nå og gamle leiligheten igjen er den gode gamle.
    Klem fra mamma
